Last month, Research In Motion (RIM), the maker of the famous Blackberry, announced its most recent quarterly earnings. They weren’t great: the company clocked a $125m (£78m) loss. But investors and press were keen to hear new CEO Thorsten Heins on his plans to minimise the damage next quarter. With new BLackBerry 10 phones not expected until the end of the year, there’s no glimmer of hope on the horizon yet. Those assurances weren’t enough.
