I’m sure we all remember when the only mobile phone worth having was a Nokia. They were small, stylish (for the time) and came in a range of colours.

Apple is well known for its clever marketing strategies. Like its products, its marketing is sleek, simple, and elegant.

Call me old-fashioned, but I still love my iPod.

Mobile World Congress is a bit like Christmas for mobile phone fans. The build-up and hype surrounding the annual mobile expo, held every February in Barcelona, often reaches fever pitch, but when it arrives it seems to shoot by in an instant.

For a technology that hasn’t actually been around for that long, smartphones have done very well for themselves.
